Learning is Fun and Interesting
Educating a child about morals, values, skills, and other important aspects of life at a young age is no easy task. But instilling all these in the children in the initial years will mould them into efficient adults for an ever-changing and competent world. At Amalorpavam Early Childhood School, our curriculum has been developed on fostering the motor, social, and creative skills of young children through a fun, interesting, and engaging environment.
Literacy, numeracy, and inquiry skills are the key factors that make a child socially competent and emotionally mature. Hence ‘Learning by Doing’ approach seemed the best way to unleash the true potential of a child.
Facilitating
Holistic Development Through 21st Century Skills
Holistic Development is the development of physical, emotional, mental, intellectual, and social abilities in a child that enables them to face the challenges and demands of everyday life.
A child can be comprehensively approached to develop skills that help it to adapt to the 21st century. Hence, the 21st-century skills are imparted to the children to enhance their survival skills.
The 21st century calls for six important skills for life, work, and citizenship. They are
-
Problem Solving and Critical Thinking
-
Assessing and Analysing Information
-
Adaptability and Agility
-
Effective Communication
-
Leadership and Collaboration
-
Imagination and Curiosity

Play group
Understanding a child’s development at an early stage is crucial for both the parent and the educator/faculty to identify specific strategies or seek support and resources for providing an enhanced and age-appropriate learning experience. Our ‘Mom & Me’ program has been exclusively designed for parents and children as parents too play an equal role in moulding a child.
Involving a parent enables the faculty/teacher/educator to understand a child’s prior and current experience for incorporating the appropriate skills or methodology to improve their thinking, speaking, and listening skills.
Our staff in the Infant Care don’t just attend to your child’s basic needs. They stimulate the child’s curiosity, imagination, and communication skills through

Preschooler Phase
Children above the age of two are introduced to the Early Learning Programme through Pre. K.G., L.K.G., and U.K.G grades. Each grade enables children to become effective communicators, critical thinkers, and confident learners. The 21st century skills are inculcated in toddlers through strong communication and skill development programs.
Each grade takes the child through a 9-month course with a series of activities planned for each subject. Their subjects usually include
